Punk Rock Entrepreneur

Years ago, I gave a conference talk in Cleveland. I wrote way too many words, and so it became a book. In 2016, Microcosm published it. Apparently I didn’t think that was quite enough work, so I also designed and illustrated the cover, hand lettered all of the chapter titles, and made a shirt to sell at the book launch.

I didn’t really know how to throw a book launch, so I threw a punk show instead, and designed and screenprinted posters for it. I learned recently that a professor in Portland is using my book in his class, specifically the chapter about finding your Juggalos.

Currently, I’m finishing up edits for my second book, Burnout Revolution, and of course I’m designing the cover for that one, too. I’m not sure yet what I’ll do for a book launch this time.
